A data protection policy
This document, which concerns Vetronaviglio's personal data confidentiality policies, aims to describe as accurately as possible the processing management methods of the personal data regarding users and visitors to our website, as well as the personal data processed by us regarding customers, suppliers, subscribers to our mailing lists and, in general, anyone with whom we have working relationships.
This is also an information notice provided in accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30th June 2003 for the people whose personal data we process and, in particular, for the users of our website services.
The information notice is not valid for any other websites that may be consulted through our links, for which Vetronaviglio is not responsible in any way.
The indications provided below are also motivated by Recommendation no. 2/2001 of the European Data Protection Commissioners adopted on 17th May 2001 as per ex art. 29 of Directive no.95/46/EC which, particularly, regards, but not only, the collection of personal data on the internet, and establishes that the minimum measures must be identified to be applied for all interested parties in order to guarantee the fairness and lawfulness of such practices (in application of articles 6, 7, 10 and 11 of Directive no.95/46/EC).§
Place and purpose of data processing
Processing connected with the web services of this website are dealt with by permanent staff/partners of Vetronaviglio srl, with registered office in Bareggio (Milan, Italy), Via Petrolo Litta 33, 20010.
No data deriving from the web service is communicated or divulged to third parties.
The personal data supplied by users who forward requests for services is only used in order to implement the service requested and is not notified to third parties except if the notification is compulsory for legal purposes or is strictly necessary in order to fulfill the requests.
Types of data processed
Navigation data
During their normal process, the IT systems and software procedures in place for the operation of this website acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This refers to information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but that by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow the users to be identified. IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users who connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identified) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used for making the request to the server, the dimension of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error..) and other parameters related to the operating system and the IT environment of the user all fit into this category of data. This data is used for the sole purpose of gaining anonymous statistical data on the use of the website and to control the correct operation and is cancelled straight after being processed. The data could be used for ascertaining responsibility in the event of any IT crimes that may damage the website.
Data provided voluntarily by users
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of email to the addresses indicated on this website involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, required for replying to the request, as well as any other personal data entered in the message.
Cookies
Cookies refer to a text element that is entered in the hard drive of a computer only after authorization. Cookies have the function of speeding up the analysis of web traffic and pointing out when a specific website is visited and allow web applications to send information to individual users. No user data is acquired by the site on this. Cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information, neither are so-called persistent cookies of any type used, that is systems for tracking users.
Optional nature of providing data
Apart from the above specifications on navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data for requesting the services offered by the company. Failure to provide them may lead to the impossibility of obtaining the requested service.
Data processing methods
The personal data is processed using automated IT tools, for the amount of time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.
Specific security measures are observed in order to prevent the loss of data, illicit use or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
Rights of the interested parties
The parties to whom the data refers have the rights set out in art. 7 of the Data Protection Law, which states, among others, the right to know the presence of his/her data and to obtain cancellation, correction and updating of the data itself, by contacting the data processing controller, that is Vetronaviglio srl.
